Wow, it’s been quite a journey! For months, my team and I have been deep in research and code, but now we’re at the other end. And, we have a great product which I truly believe you guys will love (and if you don’t, let me know why and we’ll work hard to fix it).

Indoor positioning has been the elusive holy grail of location based services since DARPA decided to give it a try with the SUO-SAS project from almost 10 years ago (I’ll blog about it at another time,  just Google it for now). But now, with the confluence of WIFI and fantastic smartphone processing power, it has become a reality with Wifarer.

Right now, we’re in beta at several locations around the States and Canada. But soon, indoor locating, and all it’s abilities, is going to be a reality near you. It’s going to be fun. Stay tuned!
